BSNL Broadband Wireless(WiFi) Configuration.
Log on to broadband modem( ADSL Router) through your favorite browser
Default Modem IP : 192.168.1.1
User Name – admin
Password – admin
Modem Model – Teracom
Model Name T2-B-Gawv1.4U10Y-BI
Firmware Version 10.4.3.12.12
Hardware Version Solos 4615 RD / Solos 461x CSP v1.0
Hardware Version Solos 4615 RD / Solos 461x CSP v1.0
Go to Configuration – > Wireless Network
Modify the configurations as shown in the below picture
Network Name – Your choice
WAP Pass Phrase – your secure password key (You have to enter while connecting wifi modem remotely)
Save the settings and reboot the modem
Now go to your laptop – wireless network connection ->refresh network list
You will find the mywireless access point -> click on connect -> this will prompt for enter pass phrase
enter your key (mykey).Now modem will be connected to your laptop through wireless.
note: If the DHCP service was enabled on your modem, that will supply an IP address for your laptop.Or you have to enter an static ip

hi friends i have a teracom wifi modem model number T2-B-Gawv1.4U10Y-BI..i had a problem that my wifi android mobile can detect the bsnl wifi modem connection but cant connect..but after detecting my android wifi mac address in my mobile settings—>about phone..i entered my mobile wifi mac address in modems–> wireless network—>mac address filter..and put it in white list..then it starts to connect..
The IP address dosent work for me
Any other suggestion.
I hane nokia siemens network and I am using 625 combo plan.
After entring that addr it opens a page "MICRO_HTTPD".

You have to login to your Broadband Modem and create (or Reset) the WEP Pass Phrase..

I did the same as you said. But when I try to connect to wifi in my Nokia E7 it finds the service id but doesnt get connected. Do I need to connect a wifi usb connector on the back of bsnl broadband modem? Plz answer
use internet explorer. according to my observation this erroe comes in Mozilla new version
If you can login to your modem, reset the WPA Pass Phrase.
Check the ip address of each desktops. If all are same then change the DCHP configuration in the modem and assign more IP range. Or configure static IP's for each systems.
You can find the reset button at the back side. Press it for 30 sec. It will go to the default mode. Use the default username, password ( I think admin/admin or admin/password)

i have a teracom type 2 modem for the last 3 4 months i have been facing a problem. the problem is that i have 3 desktop and 1 laptop. one of my desktop can access internet the other 2 cannot even cannot ping 192.168.1.1. and for the laptop i can use wifi but i cannot connect through ethernet. when i dignose using window dignose it says invalid ip. i have tried manually putting the ip also still dont work.please help

I am using the same Modem as yours and trying to access internet by wifi on my android phone.
Mobile gets connected to wifi after giving the password and i can see wifi symbol also at top but there is no internet access i mean i can not connect to any website by my mobile.
