How to Uninstall the VMWare Snapshot Provider <\/b><\/u><\/span><\/h2>\n

If your server contains both VMware VSS Provider and the Symantec VSS Provider then you will get a warning message during the VM Backup process. To avoid that warning message you can remove the VMware VSS Provider.
\n1. Go to All Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Component Services<\/b>
\n2. In the Component Services go to -> Computers -> My Computer -> COM+ Applications<\/b>
\n3. Right Click the VMWare Snapshot Provider<\/b> and delete the service as shown in the below snapshot.
\n4. Restart the computer<\/p>\n
