Vodafone Live GPRS MMS WAP 3G Automatic Settings:<\/u><\/h2>\n

Automatic GPRS settings:<\/b><\/span><\/u><\/span><\/h3>\n

To receive the GPRS\/MMS settings automatically on your mobile handset sms VL to 52586.<\/span>
\nSMS VL to 52586 (toll free) <\/b><\/span>
\n
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Manual Settings:<\/b><\/span><\/u><\/span><\/h3>\n

If the automatic settings is not working for your mobile handset, then you can configure it manually using the below configuration details.<\/span><\/p>\n

1) Vodafone live manual settings for Nokia phones<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/h4>\n

Vodafone GPRS for Samsung:<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

a) Go to menu > Funbox > WAP Browser<\/span>
\nb) Select settings, and choose your profile<\/span>
\nOnce you\u00b4ve selected the profile, complete the following fields:<\/span><\/p>\n

Profile name: Vodafone live!<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Homepage url:http:\/\/live.vodafone.in<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Security: Non-secure<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Bearer: GPRS<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
IP address: 10.10.1.100<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
U sername: ______<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Password:< blank> ______<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

Now that the settings have been completed, you can access the homepage by:<\/span>
\na) Going to the idle screen and pressing the “OK \/ i” key, or<\/span>
\nb) Go to menu> FunBox > WAP Browser > Home<\/span><\/p>\n

Vodafone MMS for Samsung:<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

a) Go to menu > Messages<\/span>
\nb) Then go to Multimedia Messages > MMS Profile > choose your profile<\/span>
\nProfile name: Vodafone live!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

a) Go to menu > Browser > Proxy settings<\/span>
\nb) Choose your profile<\/span>
\nOnce you\u00b4ve selected the profile, complete the following fields:<\/span><\/p>\n

Profile name:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Homepage URL:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Bearer: GPRS<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Proxy use: Enabled<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
GPRS setting:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
IP address:<\/b>10.10.1.100<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
IP Port:9401<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
APN:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Login ID:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Password:<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

To set the proxy settings for GPRS, go to:<\/span>
\na) Menu > Browser<\/span>
\nb) Then go to current proxy, and select the desired proxy setting<\/span>
\nNow that the settings have been completed, you can access the homepage by:<\/span>
\na) Going to the idle screen and pressing the “OK \/ i” key, or<\/span>
\nb) Go to menu> FunBox > WWW services > Home<\/span><\/p>\n

3) Vodafone live manual settings for SonyEricsson phones<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/h4>\n

GPRS Setup:<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

a) Go to Menu > Connectivity > Data Communication > Data Accounts<\/span>
\nb) Now choose New Account and select Account Type as GPRS data<\/span>
\nc) Enter New Account as Vodafone live<\/span>
\nd) Then fill up the fields below:<\/span>
\nAPN: portalnmms<\/b><\/span>
\nUsername:Blank<\/b><\/span>
\nPassword: Blank <\/b><\/span>
\ne)Click on Save<\/span>
\nOnce you\u00b4re done, go back to Connectivity and:<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 a) Select Internet Settings and go to Internet Profiles<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 b) Select New Profile and enter name: Vodafone live<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 c) Connect using Vodafone live<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 d) Save the settings and return to Internet Profiles<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 e) Now under Vodafone live, select more and go to Settings<\/span>
\nf) Now enter the following details:<\/span><\/p>\n

Connect using: Vodafone live<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Internet Mode: http<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Use proxy: Yes<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
IP address: 10.10.1.100<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Port No.: 9401<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Username: Blank<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Password : Blank<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

g) Once you have entered all the details, click on Save<\/span>
\nh) Now go to advance settings from the more options again<\/span>
\ni) Select Change Homepage option and enter the following details:<\/span>
\nName: Vodafone live<\/b><\/span>
\nAddress: http:\/\/live.vodafone.in<\/b><\/span>
\nj) Now click on Save.<\/span>
\nk) Go back to Internet Profiles and select Vodafone live<\/span><\/p>\n

To set up MMS<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

To manually set up MMS on your phone, follow these simple steps:<\/span>
\na) Go to Menu > Connectivity > Data Communication > Data Accounts<\/span>
\nb) Now choose New Account and select Account Type as GPRS data<\/span>
\nc) Enter New Account as Vodafone live<\/span>
\nd) Then fill up the fields below:<\/span><\/p>\n

APN: portalnmms<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Username: Blank<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Password : Blank<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

e)\u00a0 go to Messaging and select Settings<\/span>
\nf) Go to Picture messages and select Internet profiles<\/span>
\ng) Select New profile and enter the following details:<\/span><\/p>\n

Name: Vodafone MMS<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Connect Using: Vodafone MMS<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
IP address: 10.10.1.100<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Username:Blank<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Password : Blank <\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

h) Now click on Save.<\/span>
\ni) Now return back to Picture Messages menu<\/span>
\nj) Enter the Message Server Address: http:\/\/mms1.live.vodafone.in\/mms\/<\/span><\/p>\n
