After upgrading Apache from 2.2 to 2.4 following Error message occurred while restarting the service : invalid command ‘require \/Order’, perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration<\/p>\n

AH00526: Syntax error on line xxx of \/etc\/httpd\/conf\/httpd.conf:
\ninvalid command ‘require’, perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

\ninvalid command ‘Order’, perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration<\/p>\n

Solution:<\/u><\/h3>\n

Load the mod_access_compat module or update configuration to 2.4 authorization directives.<\/p>\n

LoadModule access_compat_module modules\/mod_access_compat.so<\/strong><\/p>\n

To load this module Edit httpd.conf and add the above line in the config.<\/p>\n
