Cyrus-Imap Server shows “Mailbox is locked by POP3 server” error message in Outlook Express Thunderbird mail clients.<\/p>\n

Error Message:<\/u><\/h2>\n

In Cyrus Imap Mail server for a particular user, emails were not received in his email client(Thunderbird).
\nAnd the following error message was shown in the email client.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Mailbox is locked by POP3 server<\/b><\/p>\n

Solution:<\/u><\/h3>\n

Remove the lock file of the particular user.<\/p>\n

In Cyrus Imap Server just Kill the pop3 process of the particular user manually.<\/p>\n

And Remove the lock file form the following imap proc folder.<\/p>\n

\/var\/imap\/proc\/< pid ><\/b><\/p>\n
