How to setup MYSql Database replication in GLPI<\/p>\n

GLPI Mysql Replication<\/b><\/u><\/h2>\n

Login to your secondary Mysql server through console<\/b>
\nCreate database for replication –\u00a0 glpi_replication
\nExample : db name = glpi_replication<\/b>, username = glpiuser , password – glpireppwd<\/b><\/p>\n

#mysql -u root -p ( enter the mysql root password)<\/b><\/div>\n
mysql> create database glpi_replication;<\/div>\n
mysql> grant all privileges on glpi_replication.* to glpiuser@glpiwebserverip identified by ‘glpireppwd’;
\nmysql> exit<\/div>\n

Login to GLPI web as admin<\/b>
\nGo to Setup -> General ->Mysql Replicate<\/b>
\nChange the settings as shown in the below Screen shot<\/p>\n

Enable The Replica – yes<\/b><\/div>\n
Mysql Server\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – Ip of your slave mysql server<\/div>\n
Database\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – slave db name<\/div>\n
Mysql user\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – slave db username<\/div>\n
Password\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0 password of slave db<\/div>\n
Max difference between master and slave\u00a0 – your choice<\/div>\n
Email Notification – your choice<\/div>\n
