Trixbox step-by-step Installation Guide for VMWare, Virtual BOX or Standalone PC.<\/p>\n

Trixbox installation Guide<\/span><\/h3>\n

Download the latest Trixbox CE stable release from Trixbox Website<\/a>
\nBurn it in to CD
\nIdentify a suitable hardware ( or VMware virtual server)
\nBoot the machine with the CD ( For vmware virtual server you can directly mount the ISO)
\nAnd follow the below simple steps<\/p>\n

Select your Keyboard Type <\/strong>and press enter<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/div>\n

Select your Time Zone\u00a0<\/strong> and press enter<\/p>\n

\nEnter the root password twice <\/b>this will be the password you use when logging into the Linux command line ( Console Password )<\/p>\n

After entering the root password , the installation will start. This will automatically check the dependency, format the hard disk and start copying the installation file
\n<\/b> Installation will take 15 to 30 min, based on your server performance.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After completing the installation server will reboot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After this automatic reboot your system should be ready<\/p>\n

On console, login into you new trixbox with the<\/p>\n

username: root <\/b>and the <\/b><\/p>\n

password : you selected during installation<\/b><\/p>\n

Now you have to configure the network for your Trixbox.<\/p>\n

This can be done either through console or through GUI<\/p>\n

To configure it through console, run the below command on console
\n#system-config-network<\/b>
\nThis will open the network console ->edit device->select your network device and enter<\/b>
\nThis will open the console as shown below
\nEnter your ip,subnet,gateway details and press ok ->save<\/b>
\nEdit DNS configuration and enter your DNS details -> save&quit<\/b>
\nNow reboot the network service
\n#service network restart<\/b><\/p>\n

Now you can access your trixbox form remote browser using this ip
