Because the deleted mails will be moved to &#8220;Trash&#8221; and that will not be possible due to IMAP&#8217;s strict quota limit.<br \/>\nThis limitation can be overcome by enabling the\u00a0 <b style=\"background-color: #cccccc;\">[&#8216;delete_always&#8217;] = true;<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 in config\/main.inc.php<\/p>\n<p><b style=\"background-color: #cccccc;\">\/**<br \/>\n* &#8216;Delete always&#8217;<br \/>\n* This setting reflects if mail should be always marked as deleted,<br \/>\n* even if moving to &#8220;Trash&#8221; fails.
